The Smith & Wesson 642 Airweight CT is a J-frame revolver chambered in .38 Special +P with a 1.88 inch barrel and 5-shot capacity. It is a concealed-hammer, double-action-only Airweight with an aluminum alloy frame and stainless steel barrel and cylinder. Crimson Trace LG-305 Lasergrips are included for a combined grip and laser aiming setup.

The enclosed hammer and short barrel give the 642 a snag-resistant profile for pocket or holster carry. Integral front and fixed rear sights provide a simple iron sight picture if the laser is not used. The revolver has no internal lock and is rated for +P ammunition.

At 6.3 inches overall and 15.4 oz, the Airweight frame keeps carry weight low. Matte silver frame finish and stainless barrel and cylinder give it a two-tone metal look. This 642 CT is suited to concealed carry and personal defense.
