Smith & Wesson Model 29 Classic
The Smith & Wesson Model 29 Classic is a large-frame revolver chambered in .44 Magnum and .44 Special with a 6.5 inch barrel and 6-shot capacity. It is built on a carbon steel N-frame with a blue finish and Altamont service walnut grips. A red ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, and included wooden display case complete this Classics series revolver.
Single-action/double-action operation and an exposed hammer support both deliberate single-action shots and double-action shooting. The 6.5 inch barrel gives a longer sight radius than a snub or 4 inch 29. Steel construction is intended for regular use with .44 Magnum and .44 Special ammunition.
At 12 inches overall and 47.7 oz, the 29 Classic has the mass to help manage magnum recoil. The walnut grips and blue steel finish give it a traditional appearance. This revolver is suited to range use, hunting, and collectors who want a classic .44 Magnum Smith & Wesson.

I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed and I knew the gun was going to have some kick to it. I did swap the handle out with a polymer grip that I bought off Amazon which seems to have improved the kicks I was getting. 44 special is very smooth through this gun. .44 Magnum without question is got a huge bang to it. The prices ever start coming down on ammo I'm going to start with 44 Magnum again so I can try it with a polymer grip on there. I still love the wooden grip and I've got it put up it's just that firing Magnum with that kind of puts a strain on your hand a little. But this is without question my best gun now. I am a huge Clint Eastwood fan and I literally cannot stop watching the movies after buying this gun again. After watching them hundreds of times lol. To me the 44 special is about like shooting the 357 Magnum and I have two of those.
I've searched for sometime now, trying to find one of these. This is the second item I've purchased from GunPrime and have never been disappointed.
