The barrel is visibly marked “MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 HBAR,” indicating a 5.56 NATO chamber and 1:9 twist rate. The lower carries Colt's AR-15 markings, while the magazine well is additionally marked “Restricted Military/Government/Law Enforcement/Export Use Only,” an interesting period marking found on certain Colt rifles produced during the federal assault-weapons-ban era.

The rifle shows normal signs of previous use and handling but appears to remain in very good overall condition from the supplied photos. One detachable magazine is shown.
